Why should I install solar for my business?

What happens if we sell the property?
You’ve got options. The solar system can move with you, or the agreement can transfer to the new owner. Either way, it adds long-term value to your property and ensures a smooth handover.
Can my generator work with the solar setup during outages?
Yes. We configure your system so solar and generator power can work together seamlessly – ensuring your essentials stay on when the grid doesn’t.
Can I cancel Eskom once solar is installed?
You’ll still need the grid for now. Our systems cover roughly 30% of your total energy demand, depending on your site. But every kilowatt you generate saves you money and builds long-term resilience.
Does solar work 24/7?
Solar generates during the day. At night or during cloudy periods, your property switches to grid or generator. It’s a smart hybrid setup – and with battery storage, 24/7 solar-backed power is within reach.
What’s the catch?
No catch. We design, install, insure, maintain, and operate the system – at no upfront cost to you. You pay only for the power it generates. It’s a fully managed solution, backed by some of the country’s most trusted funders.
What is the basis for calculating the rental fee charged?
It’s based on your current electricity tariff, your energy needs, and how much solar capacity your roof can support. If your existing tariff is already low, a CAPEX-FREE model may not be financially viable – but we’ll let you know upfront. Our goal is to save you money, not sign you up for something that doesn’t.
Do I really pay nothing for the solar system?
Yes – absolutely nothing upfront. We fund the full system: design, equipment, installation, insurance, and maintenance. You simply pay a monthly rental that increases only with inflation (CPI), which is significantly lower than typical grid hikes. That means savings from day one, and protection against future electricity increases.
What is the normal contract duration?
Our standard agreement runs for 20 years, after which you own the system outright. This timeframe is designed to maximise your long-term savings. Shorter terms are possible, but typically halve the financial benefit. We invest our own capital into the system because we believe in long-term partnerships, not short-term markups. You get lower tariffs and year-on-year savings without the risks.

What if new technologies come out after I sign?
Solar is one of the few technologies where even older systems keep generating clean, consistent energy. That said, we’re fully invested in performance – so it’s in our interest to keep your system updated and working efficiently. If it’s not performing, we don’t get paid.
What happens when system components reach end of life?
No extra costs for you. All replacements, warranties, and system updates are already included in your monthly fee. We only install high-quality equipment upfront to reduce the need for repairs later – that’s good for uptime, your business, and the environment.
What are the warranties and guarantees?
You get 25 years on panels and 10 years on inverters – all covered by us. If something needs replacing, we take care of it. It’s all part of our fully funded, 20-year rent-to-own solution. You get peace of mind and predictable performance, year after year.
How do you ensure the meter readings are accurate?
We use a regulatory-approved billing meter and provide you with access to a live online monitoring platform. This allows you to view both your energy usage and the savings generated by your system in real time.
What Health & Safety procedures are followed during installation?
Each project has a dedicated Health & Safety file, created in accordance with local and international safety standards. This file is available for review at any time and is handed over on project completion. The full pack includes:
- Electrical test results and sign-offs
- Engineering designs and layout plans
- Certificate of Compliance (COC)
- Health & Safety documentation
- Remote system monitoring app details and training
We strictly adhere to all relevant PPE and working-at-heights protocols including harnesses, hard hats, safety bibs, and certified installation teams.
What guarantees do you provide on system performance?
Under our rent-to-own model, you only pay for the energy our system produces. If the system underperforms, your payment drops to zero. We’re fully incentivised to ensure your system runs optimally–and we use advanced remote monitoring to track performance and ensure maximum uptime and savings.
What about insurance and maintenance?
We cover all operational costs–including insurance, routine maintenance, panel cleaning, and repairs–for the duration of your agreement. This includes lightning damage, electrical faults, and smart system monitoring. No admin, no risk, no cost to you.
Is there a simple buy-out or exit option?
Yes. We offer a cost-effective, flexible buy-out option at predetermined depreciated values. This means you can take full ownership of your system when you’re ready–after you’ve already seen the results for yourself.
What’s the average turnaround time for maintenance requests?
We typically respond within 24–48 hours. Fortunately, solar systems can tolerate short downtimes without major impact. And because we can’t charge rental fees unless your system produces power, it’s in our best interest to get you back online quickly.
What’s the typical installation timeline after contract signing?
